I enjoy planning.
I find satisfaction in making lists, seeking out creative ideas, and dreaming up a yummy menu.
I think that I might even prefer the planning process to the 'putting together' process.
Since Baby J's first birthday is quickly approaching, I have been scouring the internet for ideas to inspire my desire to throw a vintage schoolhouse birthday (perhaps too fitting for a kindergarten teacher).
This evening I put together two 'inspiration boards' show-casing a few of my favourite ideas so far. Over the next several weeks I will be sharing how my ideas come together (yes, I will also 'put together' the party...not just plan it!) to fulfill my party 'vision.'
A teeny part of the planning has already been completed in finding the perfect wooden highchair for the event (yay!):
(Note: I am by no means an experienced event planner; however, I am a professional list-maker and idea-dreamer!)

I love how the ideas are coming together in my mind and cannot wait to see how it all truly turns out!
