I created a little something tonight for our upcoming bathroom redo.
I've been playing around with various colour options and am excited to incorporate some pinks and yellows in the design.
We have never had a 'decorated' bathroom - we have only one photo on the wall: an image of a university friend walking toward the water as the sun rises early in the morning (it was like pulling teeth to get my friends to watch the sun rise with me!) Beyond that, the walls are bare, and nothing else matches.
We honestly do not need to change anything, but change is fun and exciting, so naturally it will occur. ;)
My little something is the start of some actual wall decoration.
It is my first attempt at 'word art' and I am actually quite pleased with the result!
Have a look:
If any of you have suggestions for other verses that inspire you (I have too many in mind and cannot seem to narrow my options), I would love to hear them.
I hope all of my Canadian friends had a wonderful Family Day! We played games with hubby's family and ate my favourite chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. Mmmm.....cookie.....
Sweet dreams!
(**One other thing....once I figure out how to upload files to make them available for download, I'll do that for this! If anyone can help me in this department, I will gladly take suggestions/advice.)
I plan to link up to these great blogs:

Beautiful job! I have no clue how to help you make it downloadable but when you figure it out, I can't wait to grab it. Love it!

I'll let you know when I figure it out. :)
DeleteI love your word art. Love your intro statement too. I'm going to stay and poke around your corner of the web for a bit. I think we have a lot in common. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Yvonne, I love this word art and so excited to find another blogger that loves the Lord too!!
ReplyDeleteOne thing you can do is upload your word art into a google docs file and then make it public. That's what I did when sharing my quiet book templates and it worked out great!
I found youfrom A Bowl Full of Lemons and am your newest follower. If you have time I'd love for you to stop over at Adventures of Our Fami-Ly and take a look at my blog.
Have a great weekend,
Sarah
Thanks Sarah! I'll try that out this week with Google Docs. And I'll be sure to look around your blog some more tomorrow (I already had a peek!). :) Thanks for following. Have a fantastic Sunday!
